Looks like Jim posted my photos in the other thread. This turbo cab was a non-factory "build" out of an 911 cabrio. Car was built back in the 80s (not by me) in South FL. 928 bits were a popular on these cocaine cowboy cars (that's what they were known as, regardless of ownership history) from that region in the day featuring various of strosek, AIR, and gemballa bodywork. There were a lot of these cars floating around when i moved down there by the late 80s usually for sale for cheap money. I had two buddies with Gemballas (pearl white and candy burgundy LOL) both of those cars had 928 armrests and modified dashes to make that work. While kind of garish, sometimes these cars were built with exquisite quality (cash flow??) I know mine was..it featured all aluminum front fenders with 928 lights, all metal bodywork (boxed rockers, quarter intakes, etc) a twin plug monster motor, and some of the best recaros, stereo, and wheels you could buy at the build time. These cars are often maligned as disgusting, and maybe rightfully so, but represent a interesting part of history. To save a lot of what I'm sure would be hilarious comments on the issue, I was in high school in Connecticut in the early 80s!
