2500 miles in three months of ownership, and two track days but at a gentle pace.

Perfectly orchestrated. Was a pleasure leading and coordinating the rides with you. I'm in for the Fall to do it all again....have to make sure my navigator can come along as he deserves most of the credit.

Indeed, we'd have been lost without him. Awesome job!

Now, if I could figure out a way to make that my day job!!??

Yes, slowly working up. I'm at almost 500 miles and progressively increasing the revs. Now just over 6k.

Any difference in the way it feels compared to the original engine?

It is so tempting to keep going up on the revs. I did a 135 mile run today and gradually inched up from 4k to 6k. They say that 'infinity and beyond' revs (paraphrase from toy story) are very sweet on the RS. Alas, I will have to wait a few more hundred miles to taste the ecstasy of the >8k rev range.

On my 2014 i did 6550 miles on 1 year until i sold it last august... I just got my 2016 RS On february 1st and did the proper break in for 1875 miles, (revs not over 6000rpm) and i currentley have 2510 miles, i've been having fun just for 635miles... Above 6000 rpm's it's a whole new world, the noise is even more intoxicating than in the Gt3.

My GT3 got 18000km in less than a year when I sold it, it was addictive to drive. My RS has only 1000km after a half-year ownership, because the track season is not started yet plus it's too aggressive too sharp to drive on the street comparing to GT3 and GT4.

i found the gt3 more harsh on street than my RS, i dont know if it's because it seats lower to the ground than the RS...
And i dont think is that hardcore to not drive it 2-3 times per week...

that's interesting, I feel RS is louder and stiffer, but not much. Can't wait to take the beast to the track soon.

I'II tell you what, since you sold your GT3 and you said the RS is less fun, how about we just make an even trade?
