How to remove white letters from Calipers??
I will be putting on my newly refinished GTS wheels this weekend and have purchased some new whilte PORSCHE deacals for the calipers...
Is there a way to remove the factory, faded/painted, white letters without hurting the red paint on the calipers?
thanks

MEK would probably take them off, but I don't know if it would hurt the paint. I would do a test with it on the back side of the caliper first. Normally, MEK doesn't affect cured paint though, so it should work. maybe even try something a little less strong like acetone first.

If all else fails just send the calipers here for a full-service..

I went with caliper stencils to avoid this problem. You might be able to just put the decals over the old faded paint?

Mine seemed to rub off way too easily with just brake cleaner.

Where did you buy those decals? Thinking about painting mine yellow, but want new decals as well.
If they are not too expensive....

Stickers on....Acetone worked like a charm.... and didn't bother the red paint on the calipers...
