BAD_NO_1, thanks for those photos of the green stripes! I've wondered what the green would look like exactly, and in these it's lighter than the press photo appeared. Here's the link to autogespot for a few more photos from the series. And I don't recall the CS option being available anywhere either??

lessthan3mph, what do you think about the metall-colour combo, IMO it is far away from the white one with the really cool red strpies ( and the silver wheels )! I really be a fan of rare colour combos , but not for this.

I also find this color combo not as nice as white over red stripes. I guess it is pre-series car (judging by licence plate) so it could be equiped with whatever they needed..
As for German police car I though it use a silver cars with blue stripes... and that green is like they used to have?

I would guess BRG because of the BP link? When I was at the dealer looking at my car, I noticed the stickers on my RS change like paint depending on the light/angle. Sometimes they look almost fluro orange - like the first set of green pictures looks almost fluro green.

I've been told that they don't correspond to an actual current paint colour. Sort of like how NateOZ your orange decals were not a known orange paint colour.
Seems like a good guess, but from the photos, it seems lighter than Irish or BRG to me. Here's paint chips from 1973 / 1974 which show Irish in the context of Birch, Viper, etc. My photo makes these chips look darker than Irish probably is, fwiw (partly because these are indoors vs the car was outdoors??).
I'm curious, and if anyone can find out more please let me know. Thanks!
