Default New rear timing cover fitment issues

I just bought a new rear timing cover from paragon to replace my crusty cracked and crazed old one. My old front covers are in decent shape and cleaned up well, but they don't fit exactly. Is there a list of matching covers somewhere with part numbers and such?

What do yours look like? And yes. A 16v back cover won't work with 8v front covers for example or the other way around. What is the part number? Funny thing I noticed in my factory Porsche parts catalog states that the 944/S/T all share the same timing belt covers and I know for a fact that the 16v covers are wider at the distributor cover housing. And there are three different front upper timing covers for sure. 83-86 8v,87-89 8v with automatic tensioner, and 944S/S2/968 16 timing covers.

Top left: 87-89 8v with auto tensioner PN 944.105.041.00
Center right: 16 v PN 944.105.035.00
Bottom left: 83-86 8v PN 944.105.047.00
You may have ordered a 16v rear by mistake. This one is PN 944.105.039.05 for a 87 951.

This is a 16v upper over an 8v rear cover. They don't line up at the top at all.

Yeah thats the fitment issue i'm running into. I have to bend the rear cover to make the slots line up.

This is what I got. It says it fits 944 1987 car. I'll have to call them back.

Thank you for the info.
