Posted a picture a while back where I added yellow headlight film. Film was from racelite designs. Awesome company with a motorsport background (believe owner is a pro racer). Anyways the film is designed for IMSA and class designation.. so it is a yellow film then a protective clear over. when I first had it installed it was a crap job and I was not satisfied.. but I was worried to remove because of the de lamination issue of stock coating.
I did it anyways, patiently with a heat gun and came off super easy and did not do anything to the coating. I then got new film from racelite who this time gave me a bulk piece (not precut) of the yellow and I still had the clear as I never put it on.
I also just put on a Porsche script on the wing from Mulholland racer (I also purchased a pair of their delany driving gloves that haven't come yet in black with dark blue index and middle finger to match the DBM).
Pic one - after yellow removal
Pic two - new yellow
Pic three - Porsche Script
Pumped with the way everything turned out (haven't seen it in person yet hah) in pictures.

Love the rear spoiler ( where did you get that Porsche script from)
I like your mod, but the stock TL have grown on me a bit.

Yes, I also bought them for the contrast to break up all the red. I think it gives it a more aggressive look.
Today I dropped off my car at Automobilia for Xpel Ultimate, 3M Color Stable Tint, and stripe install
- charged the battery
- placed the front and rear luggage room mats
- driven 60 km
- sew some alcantara pieces with red stiching to stabilize harness to the firewall when i am not using them
Just the rear. If you get the car up on a lift you'll see why.
The fronts are designed like deflectors, imagine holding you hand out the window vertically directing air into the cabin. Any scrape on the bottom edge will just be that, a scrape. I've see the front air deflectors knocked off on other cars but you need a pretty bad hit to do that.
On the rear, these are scoops with the openings facing the front. Imagine a clam shell with the opening facing the front. Any scrape on the bottom of the clam in the direction of travel will rip the bottom half off. The two halfs are held together with flimsy clips.
Hope that makes sense.
Pete, good call! I had the rear brake duct ripped off once when I went off the track. The broken plastic got caught inside the wheel barrel and scrapped off a bunch of paint. It was not a great experience. I'll do the same next chance when I have the car on the lift. Where did you zip tie it to?
