Had a couple of brief cloud bursts today at work. When I came out to drive home, this is what greeted me in the lot. Guess I get to wash the car, again, after dinner. Of all the places I have lived, Bahrain is the only one where your car is dirtier AFTER it rains than before.

It rains there?

OBTW - welcome longrowe! It's gonna take you a while to build up your post count at your present pace, though.

Interesting just how much sand the rains pick up and then drop.

Neat colour combo on your car btw.

I don't post too much, mainly just read what others have to say.

Sometimes we get our 4 inches of annual rainfall in one day.

Zenith blue with boxter red interior. Though the sun has made it more of a terra cotta. I love the blue, would have preferred a different interior but for the price, I wasn't going to pass it up.

Cool color combo for sure - fairly rare I'd think. Make sure you give that thing a good rinse and use lots of foam/suds before you start wiping on it !!! Good luck

I don't see how you guys can keep your car looking and running so good over there with all the sand storms. You must have to change out your air filter and cabin filters quite often.

Not really. I do change them every 6 months. We do not get too many sand storms that you would not want to drive through. Mostly it is a fine grit in the air. My car has a 12ft paint job. There are a lot of rubs and thin areas once you get close.

How long have you owned your Porsche? Love the interior.

One year this month. I had a 924 turbo about 20 years ago and sold that to get a 928S. Sold that when we moved overseas and now just got back into a P-car.

All cleaned up and ready for the 20 min sprint to work.

And a couple of the interior. It is a 1998 that currently has 55000 miles on it. I just replaced all of the suspension as the PO put crazy low Techart springs on it but never changed the shocks. They were so loose that i did not need a spring compressor. Nice set of B8's now and it is a world different to drive.

Nice! I just put B8's on mine with H&R lowering springs...so smooth!!! I like your front bumper as well...Do you know what it is? (looks aftermarket)

More pics of the outside. Can't really see the front bumper and spoiler. And I love the red interior with the black accents. The all red seems too much but that is cool. Maybe some black carpets.

The front bumper, side skirts and rear decklid/wing are all Strosek. They were a german company that made aftermarket Porsche stuff. They had a website a year ago when I was trying to figure out what was on the car but it looks like it is gone now. I will take some pics of the front and back after work.
