The Kokeln setup was for me one of the cheapest ways to lower the car and loose weight. A custom setup would have been more expensive.

I could run wider tires, but experience shows that with my power/driving levels the 285 tire heats up nicely, similar temps F/R. Tried 305's even 325's, just did not get enough heat in them.

I once had a small oil spill at the front of my car, and you could see the oil being sucked out. Looked like a wind tunnel.

Now it is a standard product available...

There was quite a bit of damage, but nothing too structural. Most of the hit was taken by the subframe. And a lot of the GF/carbon parts were gone

Paper is not the best idea - microscratches the paint. I got almost beaten up by my Porsche guy when I started using paper towels. Preferably use some kind of cloth.

+1 on loosing the bumper pads.
