My '05 997CS always showed about ~2.5 oil pressure at idle. I had the car out on Saturday and at idle the pressure is now showing ~3.8 on the gauge.
Never had any issues with this car,...

Used an oil extractor for years on my drivers (Volvos). If your engine is in good shape and has no sludge you warm up the engine to get the dirt in suspension then siphon it out. I never drained...
