Metal pieces in oil

Thank you so much ! I have the same syndrom...everytime I hear or think I hear a
strange noise or smell something funny,
I see big bills looming up....sofar it were all
simple to fix things...

Particles in oil

just mounted a new filter and examined the old (just 3 months) filter, the oil left in the filter is conpletely clean, no metal or other
particles in it, I am stumped....

Oilfilter

The oilfilter should filter out any type of particles , or am I wrong ?

small pieces of aluminum in oil

after draining the oil I found very small pieces of (what looks like) aluminum, the pieces are
very small, like coffee drab. What can be the problem ?

What is the best way to get the aircon lines out of the engine bay, through the engine bay or through the rearfender ?

Heater fan

I know the electrical motors are different , the
blower motor is a lot bigger but I thought the actual plastic fans look the same

is the fan in the heatermotor in the engine bay the same as the ones in the front fans
(the ones left and right behind the paravan)

blew up.. I heard a loud POP and blue smoke in the rear mirror...scared the heck out of me !

How do you get the aircon lines out in the engine bay ? those on the compressor are no problem , but where are the end of the lines attached ? can you get at it from the
engine bay ?

these cars can really piss you off...and stil we love them...

964 does not start

my 964 always started immediately, but now for the first time she refuses ! starter motor turns OK and she almost starts..I smell gas !
Changed the DME relay to no avail, any suggestions ?

What is/are the most common leak(s) in the AC system of a 1990 C2 ?
I did not get cold air anymore and had the car on the AC computer,
the machine sucked out 40 grams of coolant and did a 30 minute...

My 1989 C2 (289K kilometres) is ringing for years now ! I would get worried if it went away ��.....as long as she goes like a tiger with good oilpress and temp, I am happy !!!!
