The battery has two terminals , + and - . Put your jump leads on those terminals for best effect . Be sure to get your jump lead polarity correct !

Sorry to polute your life with chip number crap . I did that because its generally a good idea to install something that will work properly .

Chip numbers are 1037 355 430 , 1 267 358 454 , 1 267 358 947 . Depends on whether you have a C2, C4 , manual , Tip which you start...

When my 964 motor went smoky etc I replaced it with a 1997 993 Tip motor ,
with good low miles ....

The 89 transmission is totally different to the 91 . Starter , Flywheel , are not compatible as they are physically different . Your DMF will not fit !

If you try the Indycam method you will put a progressive twist in the crank !...

The DME must have an Air temp signal so that it can alter the ignition timing to prevent detonation in hot weather . This function could be mapped out but that is not wise !

It was the turbo version that shut down the 4 valve heads for the 964 that
were developed ! Just not enough thermal capacity for 4 valves and air cooling
plus turbos .

Leaves me with mixed...
