I love my 928 (83 S)...use it as my daily driver (well, for 9 mos out of the year). On weekends I drive from Milwaukee, WI to South Bend IN...it's the best cruiser!

You really don't have to move the location of the battery tray...just get a non-corrosive battery after you put in a new tray like the optima. Get the red with reverse poles and it fits...
