Well, I was on my cars yesterday and misplaced my 87 911 key. At least I have a backup key. Is a simple route just to purchase a blank one and take my backup and the new blank to a hardware store...

I think this is one of those depends on overall setup and driver style. My GT3 has been on the track since almost new and I only re-built once in over 10+ years.
