That's exactly the problem I'm talking about, I can pull the barb out by hand. I was thinking about epoxy but wasn't sure it was the right way to go about fixing it, but it's definitely alot easier...

I noticed a small leak where the idle valve attaches to the manifold. What's the common fix for this? I was thinking about tapping it for a threaded hose barb to guarantee a leak free connection.

I started checking connectors and the temp sensor...

I started checking connectors and the temp sensor wires are completely shorted together. Will the car still run if I cut them off for now while I troubleshoot just so theyre not shorted together...

splintering lug nuts?

This is the first and probably last time I've never seen a lug nut corrode and splinter apart. What are these things made of? Whats a good steel replacement? I'm going to try removing them shortly...

how to tell a turbo from a turbo s?

I bought an 88 turbo and don't know if its a turbo or a turbo s. Are there any tell tale signs or can the vin tell me anything? I don't think its too easy to tell the difference in turbo hot sides?

i think i figured it out, i pulled the plugs and they were all soaked in gas and carbon. I'm charging the battery than im gonna clean the plugs and see if it runs in a little bit.
