It seems the recommended batteries all are right post (pos) terminal.
That puts the pos post back under the fender.
The downside is my negative ground is not very long.

I will probably remove the part and bring it to the dealer to compare to a new one. It's $75 more, but if it is a newly designed part maybe they now have corrected...

Porsche dealer says now it is two separate parts now (rubber piece separate), totaling $104.
Not sure if it is a better design now or just go with OEM.

I had a very reputable shop replace it last time, so I would be surprised if that were the problem. What causes them to fail, esp. at that junction? Vibration? Hard driving?...

I have an 85 Carrera engine. My left camshaft oil line is dripping when the engine is running (drips at the junction to the left of the hose section).

Vertex has this as a Porsche Cam Oil Line...

Does anyone have experience with upgrading the boxster brake to a 70's 911S?
I have a 1977 911S. I rebuilt my stock calipers and replaced rubber hoses last year and brake pedal still goes deeeeep...

Please help! I have had street 205/55/16 tires on all 4 stock wheels. The Yokos are now gone, RIP....

i enjoy my wheel as well. on my 1977 for a more traditional 70's look I installed a 350 mm momo corse model. great upgrade! like the above comments, it's just a bit smaller than the stock Porsche...

This happened on my 77 as I have a front oil cooler. Mine was actually leaking. Yours may develop one over time (maybe not). Regardless, you gotta fix it as stated above as you don't want oil temps....

The Motive bleeder works well. Just test how well it has attached/sealed at the MC reservoir cap to make sure...

My mechanic recommended I use steel lug nuts for DE...
