So are you saying that taking out the two bolts doesn't release the back seat? I just unbolted the two bolts on both sides and unhooked the cable for the release. The hinge mechanism stays attached...

Yes, I heard someone do it that way but I am trying to understand why someone would want to use a dry bleeder. Why not put some fluid in the bleeder, pressurize once and be done? What am I missing?
