It might be the throddle position sensor idle switch. Or the adjustment is off for the TPS. They are known to go bad.

Sounds like a power wire is shorting to ground. I recommend taking out your power control box (fuse block) and cleaning it up, while you in there check your wires. You may find the problem right away.

This is a “opening a can of works” topic. However I believe no matter the oil any of us use the biggest issue is changing the oil(s) in our cars more frequently then suggested by any manufacturer....
