OK, with the help of a stubby 5mm 1/4" drive, I was able to extract the old sensor. It appears to be full of oil. I have a new Bosch sensor going in, we'll see what happens......

I'm running a 235/40R18 - 285/35R18 combo on my slightly lowered daily driver. Easy to find tires in these sizes, and the the ratio of "stagger" is awfully close to OEM.
Not an "N" rated choice, so...
