Ok, that might have been somewhere else then. But you need the right combination of black and white ones, and crummy ones aren't worth the powder to blow them to hell.

Do what you do, however putting the wrong clips in the wrong holes makes problems, and I have bought clips on Ebay that were total garbage. So your mileage may vary.

Any of the happy vendors/sponsors would carry them. Ebay is eh, and you *really* need the right combination of ones to do this job properly. Spend the extra couple of bucks and buy from a vendor.

From the pics it looks like they spread out at the ends as they explode. Wonder if they spread out under load, possibly enough to put pressure inside a clamp and loosen it a bit....

It's not tightening *a* bolt, it's tightening *the* bolt. Screwing this up could make a big mess. Bigger than blowing timing belts. Maybe I can bring a bottle of everclear from SITM up to Mr. Merlin...
