Mine were snapped off by the previous owners mechanic and he just glued the bolt heads to the valve covers to make it look like they were ok. He done the same thing to 3 water pump...

That's a no. 928's have such a unique body profile they don't need it broken up by a decal. I put a Porsche decal on my Boxster because the body design is quite drab. It did break up the design a bit...

Looking at an early 928 and the engine number is gone....hhmmmm. Old guy reckons the car spun a bearing in it's early life, and Porsche sent a re-manufactured block minus engine...
