2006 M97 IMS failure at 117,428 miles. I took it to one DE. Never ran the over rev report as I purchased the car 8 years ago at 27k miles.

It is the larger non serviceable bearing. Even if it was the smaller bearing, the amount of metal on the magnetic drain plug and in the filter would require an engine tear down.

Will likely get a new clutch as well. I have 117,xxx on the original clutch. Hope I don't need a new flywheel.

As said above, the DRL in the 997.1 only use the headlights. There is a hack somewhere on here on how to use the fogs as DRLs.

each line on the 997.1 oil gauge equals 400 mL. LN says to keep the oil level one to two bars low. A slightly lower oil level seems to be better for the AOS.
