I taught a few people how to drive clutch in my 88 924S. Definitely sucks when they start chugging it, but generally because it is a porsche they at least try to be as gental with it!

mine failed somewhere around 140k, and it only failed because the metal tabs from the clutch material to the rubber center broke. i guess thats what i get for spinning the tires in the rain.

its not supposed to fill you with comfort...lol exactly the opposite, i wouldn't do over 40 under those circumstances, just saying that if you have no other option it can be done.

if you really are strapped for cash, repairing it with a walmart kit is ok for a while, ya its almost on the sidewall, but i'm just saying if you really can't afford it right now, thats a good option...

what year were the turbo dials off of? if its 86, it should bolt up no problem, but the late offsets will need spacers to get them to fit "nice and snug"
