Had the same issue and made me sell the car after only 1.5 years.

If fluid change does not cure this then it is likely synchro rings and apparently parts are hard to get for those Aisin gear...

Yes, absolutely. As far as I know, the ECU needs to be physically opened and with a suitable chip tuning device, the corresponding bits and bytes get changed.

There are a couple of sellers on ebay...

GTS is a great car all around: performance, looks, options

991.2 Carrera S with its turbo engine can easily be tuned to produce 500 hp (if that is your thing)....

I would also give ATE rotors a try. If they don't make them inhouse they will get them from OEM manufacturer and rebrand them ATE.

The tiptronic can be optimised by adjusting the shift times in the tcu. Some of the tuning guys can do it. As stated, it gets it close to PDK.
