Hopefully OP reports back soon about his new car, and not that the "dealership" ended up being a cornfield in the middle of nowhere.

I always look at them somewhat longingly and halfway consider getting one, but I'd only ever want a V12 manual variant. I know I'd be giving up something in performance and reliability over my Turbo,...

Yeah, the analogy I always think of is, would you rather use a 2008 Blackberry or a 2010 iPhone in 2019? They're both horrendously out of date, but the iPhone (PCM 3.0) still has modern design and UI...

LOL. Have you not seen the DME reports people are always posting with way more ranges 4-6 than this car that are still running strong 20,000 miles later? OP's car money shifted pretty recently so I...

Mezgers don't have the IMS bearing issue that the M96/97 did. Their biggest weakness is the coolant pipe thing, which on the 07-08s is pretty much a matter of "when, not if" at this point.

Yeah, it really just comes down to the DME not being nearly as pixel-perfect as people want it to be. Even when you have more legitimate looking numbers in 1-3, who's to say they aren't fudged by 50...

Yeah, 98% chance that's either a lie or they're incompetent.

That being said, those numbers are very, very small so unless the car is noticeably running rough I think you'll be fine even if...

Yeah, the 992 Derangement Syndrome in that forum is pretty funny to watch. The way they talk, you'd think the 991 is a time capsule of raw analog purity from the 80s that only true driving...

Not the cleanest report I've ever seen, but not the worst. The tune can definitely account for the plentiful 1s and 2s, maybe 3s if it's really aggressive.

I'd only really be concerned about this...

That range 6 is a glitch, and ranges 3 and 4 being the same number is also weird. Key thing really is how old they are as indicated by the hour counter. It's actually a very clean report for a car...
