Pretty much shattered at the moment. Had too much bad luck over the last 10 years. Very hard to think rationally about it all. Just need some time away from it. Being glass half full, Paul had flames...

Thanks Tim. It's a few years ago now but my recollection is that the Clewett was ok but the Motec didn't really like it. So I had a 60-2 flywheel made although we didn't realise that the way the...

Oh and T, yes it was the stock sensor in the stock location and did lead to some signal errors again today. Doing a 5 hour round trip today to only cut 2-3 laps was somewhat frustrating. However on...

Car is still black. In fact it could do with an update. It's good from far and far from good...up close. It will still look ok in pics I'd say. Still looks like this. Wish we had time to have built...

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

T, I don't know if it's the stock sensor or a Motec one. Some years ago we wound up running the Clewett setup at the front of the motor but later switched...

Here's a couple of charts. Dyno read 17psi but ECU only ever read 16psi. Take your pic. Early days but we're all very tempted to just sit on this tune maybe w/ minor revisions for now. Hope stock...

We're going to another track tomorrow for some shake down laps. So far it looks like we'll be at WTAC in a few days. For those who don't know what this event is, it's essentially fastest lap wins. ...

618.2whp @ 17psi

EDIT: I just changed the psi figure as there was a bit of a difference between the dyno and the ECU. So I cut it in half.

First dyno session with the new motor. Had a bit of signal noise which...

Well you're in good hands with MM. A few people have done the b/shaft delete without concern however you need to get a good dampener in their place. For a trailer racecar you may consider this. With...

You're going to get a lot of very opposing views about MiDs. Less so about dry sleeves. Both probably made by Darton. Both Chris and Michael know their craft. Michael might suggest you look at a 16v...

No expert but pretty sure there were some differences around the world.
Also, this was the shop that made the 3.2lt LiL motor. I don't think they really do a ton of high end custom i4 Porsche...

Lot's of the modified 944 turbo crowd and the Jap car scene run E85 successfully for years. The claims that it will instantly destroy your village are somewhat exaggerated lol. It can have an effect...

Can you run 16v? Might be worth considering. Obviously there are varying builds and varying budgets but I'd say you can do it without killing the budget. Hope to have mine at the dyno v soon for...
