I suggest you join PCA Canada West Region. We are extremely active with several functions a month including tours, driving, auto cross etc. Also of course meetings of a more social nature on a monthly basis
Google PCA-CWR for the website and info on how to join. Scan automotive can also fill you in as they are a significant sponsor of the Club (and where I get my work done too).

Try out one of "Bob's Breakfast Runs".
First one is April 9th.
Here's the list of the others - http://forum.pca-cwr.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3469
You'll have to wake up real early!

Also, on Wednesday April 13 there will be a dinner (more of a social nature) at River House Restaurant which is in Delta, right near the Tunnel. CWR has initialed a "social" function each month as well as the many functions around the cars themselves.
The club is for all Porsche owners and drivers. Not just the Technical side of the car, the social and driving and performance owners as well.

There is also a Vancouver Island Region of PCA which does do a number of events at various location on the Island. I suggest you go onto the PCA national web site for their contact information.
