Default Taxes on a car sold in BC and going back to Alberta...

Say - can anyone help me with this question on inter-Provincial taxes?

I have a car here in BC I am selling to a person in Alberta.

It makes sense he will be PST exempt but what about the GST?

Any difference between a private sale vs a Dealer sale?

Thanks in advance...

Joel

if you are selling the car in your personal name, you do not collect taxes as you do not have a taxation number.

if the car is in a company name with a taxation number then you will have to charge him GST. (out of province sale dosnt collect PST)
