I am looking for a reliable tire shop the Ottawa (Ontario) region. My wife just bought me a set of tires as an early father's day gift, from one of those online places that deliver the tires to your home. In the past, I would have taken them to [omitted], but the last time we bought tires there, they damaged the plastic Mercedes logo centrecap on one of her wheels and completely lost another. When I followed up, they said the caps were already damaged/missing. As my 16" Fuchs are now nearing 35 years old, I am somewhat hesitant to take them to a place that might use clip-on wheel weights to balance them. Can anyone help?

Hi, I have used Sean Getty at Getty Automotive on Canotek in the east end of Ottawa for the last couple years. Me and few others have had many tires installed at his place. He is very careful and I have seen many very nice cars in there. Its a small shop and he's a true pro. I'd also recommend him for general maintenance any brake work that you need on your car. I've had several brake replacements (including Pagid/Giro disc) with excellent results.

So Sean did my tires in less than a day, did an awesome job, and charged less than I was expecting; overall, I'd rate him 10 out of 10!
