You could probably do just as well using the "Waze" app where the info is crowd sourced: shows road hazards, police presence, and traffic indications. And it is completely legal!

I use the Valentine 1 but my father has the Escort passport X50 and his goes off before mine does. His also has VG2 guard so the cops in Ontario don't know he has it. (if a police officer is reading this...both of us have just sold them. sorry for any inconvenience)
