Sergio, I am starting to lean in that direction too. I was wondering if Mosport was out in the wilderness like Calabogie or if there are plenty of options for food and lodgings like Tremblant? Any recommendations for hotels in the area?

Erik, Dave, Bill Newby and I stayed in a neat B&B minutes from the track. Real nice hosts, great breakfast. Very cool self built stone buildings
Called the Stone Coach. Highly recommended.

Sergio, It's looking more and more like I'm going to do Mosport in October. Thanks for the tip Rick.

'In for a penny in for a pound'. I just registered.

I just looked at the track map and holy cow that back straight is long. I am relatively slow in the 200 kph range in the long straight before 10 at Le Circuit. I think the RS's top 250 there. It looks like a much longer straight at Mosport. Is it considered a fast track?

Mosport is an incredibly fast track. The back straight is all uphill, which is why 'average' horsepower cars don't see a huge difference in top speed when compared to other tracks, with shorter back straights, like Tremblant.

My registration status is 'pending'. Philippe Bergeon (in Green with a grey Cayman) asked me for the link to the ucr registration page. I'm not sure if he knows about this forum.
