Default BLUE UNICORN RETURNS

The Blue Unicorn is :
All original 1997 Turbo
Low Mileage
'Paint to Sample' Riviera Blue.
For sale at over $300K

The car belongs to MotorCarLeasing.
www.motorcarlease.com

Owned by Jaysen and Dean Cristofaro, Car Leasing is an astounding place, filled with the most spectacular cars. There are always pristine 911's, GT3, at least 3 -4 Ferraris, A Rolls or two, Vipers, Aston Martins, tricked out MB's, Audis, etc. They even had a few special Ducatis!

It is an expensive toy shop, and the merchandise is constantly changing.

Through these guys, I acquired my lovely C4S, and they have now helped me sell it again. I have found them to be honest, enthusiastic, and highly professional.

I suggest a visit to their showroom. It is certainly drool worthy.

The grandfather, Frank Cristofaro was the exceptional car painter... creator of the 'Cristrofaro paint job'. I was told that he had been a furniture refinisher, and used similar wet sanding techniques to achieve the mirror-like finish for which he was famous. Until then, auto painting was dependent solely on the spray gun.

I remember the reverence his name commanded, and how his paint job increased a car's value.

I went to school with Dean (and Jaysen). We were best buddies, hanging together in 4th, 5th and 6th grade. I was often invited to their chalet at L'Estérel.

I remember going up North, with their Mom driving an Innocenti with 5 kids in the car, Jaysen shifting the gears (he was 9 or 10).

Fun times! Their Dad would take us in his 512BB to the brunch, the 3 of us in the passenger seat!

The car is amazing from far, but up close you notice that the re-spray wasn't done so well....hence my 'hot mess' comment. I'm just surprised they (or the previous owner) wouldn't have done a better job considering how rare the color is on a 993TT and the price they are asking.

I've had a few friends buy cars there and they were all super happy.

Rudy (993 collector/psychopath) was interested in buying it but he found another on in the same color, all original paint for less money.
