3rd and final race weekend for the rookie season Fall Classic
To close the blog on this rookie's first race season. Fun experience, great bunch of people. Although I missed half the DEs and especially the off-piste Rennspoon team gathering, I was glad to see some at the fall classic when the DE-Race crowd overlapped on Sunday. Will aim to better balance the season in 2014, if I can find a sensible solution for my noisy exhaust over the winter to permanently meet Tremblant's specs...
Here are some takes from the fall classic at Tremblant.
See the battle with the straight line HP of the Mustang at around 4:00 min.
Happy hibernation.

My max speed before entering T10 is 182-183. Max speed before T8 is 178. T7 and T10 are about the same speed (130 iirc). I could reach 170 before T4 but I don't find that it is very effective. I come in slower (166) but brake deeper and more stable.
Ah, the joys of racing!!! I do try thing without even sometimes really noticing them but feeling the gain or the loss... Or maybe should i say without planning them far ahead. That would be more accurated. As it more of a state of mind.

Fun to find a new steep learning curve.
Something is indeed brewing in Wildcat land.
As long as we were driving +/- the same lawnmowers, no one cared of how slow we were :-) It's fun per second per $ that counted. Professor Lane..., a graph that shows a linear optimisation please?
My max is close to Charles'. Getting to 180 on the GPS before braking for T10. Nevertheless, for those cars, it's in the turns where speed counts the most. Charles is clearly a black belt at it. Especially when you add water!
We Tune has just implemented a new alignment setting. Shake and Bake next season.
