For the DE newbies
Couple of videos for you guys to chuckle at when you get together at the track.
The second video is truly what DE is about...

Dwane LOL
I luv the ominonous sound track,
Lesson 1
- always be nice to the flaggers and starting seventh is not guarentee you
won't end the session in 13th spot.
Lesson 2
- On my first DE the second thing my instructor asked me was, have you
modified your Porsche? NO 3rd question do you intend to soon?
NO... "Good answers"
- Best advise I got, "the quickest way to go fast is, invest in improving
yourself, INVEST IN SEAT TIME not the tricked out car."
Thanks go out to Dennis Paradis and Albert Carbone for the great advise. I hope you never have to go through teh crap in that video. That's one patient Instructor LOL

"Flat Out" - a classic!
If I had a nickel for every kid on a shiny new 600cc bike looking for a bump on their first trackday....only to be humbled by the Beginner pace and by much older and faster instructors on 10 yr old bikes held together with duct tape and tyraps...Ha..must be an appropriate grasshopper quote for that.
"Just drive faster-keeps them awake"
I seem to recall another Mr. Rouleau using his horn to get their attention.
Dinner must have included copious amounts of alcohol last event since a bunch of us newbies were bumped to white - wait..does that make us seasoned track veterans and no longer newbies?
Cheers,
Andrew
