i was at the Mark Motors 50 years of the 911 lunch today. very nice event. Lots of old cars, pristine 73, 89 Turbo with 500 Kilometres (I WANT that car). an early S, A 993S with a few thousand Klicks. Of course everybody went outside to see mine <sheepish grin>. Oh, and the new 50th anniversary edition. They did a really nice job, but it looks so big compared to the old cars. I think if I move to a newer car, it will be a Cayman. Or a 993 (TT?), but that 89 turbo, oh man...

I think they need to hire me to exercise the stable. These cars should be run a little. I feel a little sad for them; their brothers on the assembly line have had amazing adventures while they sat in storage.
Hmmm think I will take the 73 for a spin tomorrow. For its sake. It's not about me I do it for the car...
