Unhappy M96 motor needed.

After the big bang at the September LCMT event my car needs a heart transplant. Looking for a motor that will play nice with my existing DME 7.8. Any links or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I saw a couple of 3.4s on his site but when you calculate the price in Canadian dollars and add on the tax, we’re looking at around $19,000!

See if Dylan at Bohica has one...

If not buy a smashed 996, take the engine and part the rest.

The M96 is used in the 996, 986, 987 and 997 cars . There are various configurations of this engine needing different DMEs. I’m looking for one that uses dme 7.8

You need something 2003+ in that case .The switch from 7.2 to 7.8 happened sometimes in 2002... You can run anything 2003+ 3.4, 3.6 or 3.8 with ease. 3.6 is your best bet.
