Mine broke when they changed the windshield, and then I ordered one from ebay and it came broken.

Anyone have one locally?

If the ball is still on the windshield and you are just replacing the mirror, be very careful so you don't break the windshield when you pop it back on, I don't know the trick (if there is one) and cracked my Boxster windshield doing just that...

Hi Seb, 986 won't work from what I've seen....the connection is different.

Hi Steve, I broke my windshield as well.

The trick is that the connection to the window will come off easily if rotated like 90 degrees.

I have the ball and the mirror, just can get the two to mate together.
