997 differential shims for Quaife LSD install
I purchased a Quaife hellical LSD for installation in my 997. Details here... https://shop.quaife.co.uk/porsche-99...d-differential
Apparently, I will require shims for the installation. If you get the kit from Porsche, you have to purchase L&R, and it is big bucks. I have a found a partial set from a forum member, but it will still be quite pricey.
Does anyone know if you can use generic shims, or a place locally (Toronto) where they will only charge you for the shims you use during the installation?

Any luck?
Any luck finding them? I’m doing the same project and stumbled on this. I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks

I ended up taking the car to the guys up at Autoselect in Newmarket for the install. IIRC, they said it was not an issue with the shims. I think they just ended up using the original ones
