40TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY
What a wonderful evening we all had!
WONDERFUL organization, with every detail well thought out and perfectly executed.
Surprisingly good food, arriving hot!
Plenty of swag.
Good speeches.
Not one black flag!
All in all, it was a delightful evening.
I particularly enjoyed introducing my wife, Lona, to many of the guys I often refer to, and to their wives. This adds a human touch to our collective addiction, and will make future discussion meaningful at home.
While speaking to a doctor whose specialty is 'infectious diseases', we laughed that she was, indeed, in a highly contagious environment, a veritable epidemic of multiple cases of a highly 'infectious disease'!
Congratulations to all those who worked so diligently to make this such a memorable evening.
See you all (hopefully) at the Christmas Party.

It was a great event. Really enjoyed catching up with old friends and new alike. Everyone looked and smelled amazing - frankly something I can't recall. 
Really miss some of the Ottawa members that brought so much to the club. Rob Martin, Marc Belanger, Paul Racine... hoping to see them join us at the track more often, LCMT and Calabogie. It was great to catch up at the 40th...
And some well deserved appreciation for the current club senior Execs that make our events happen and run so smoothly.
