Anyone planning on going to the Goodwood Fesival of Speed.

I went last year and had a great time.

Yup, hope to be there on the Saturday.

Unlikely to be taking the P-car but would be happy to meet up at some point.

Note that they will not be selling tickets on the gate this year, advance sales only.

I would be interested as long as it doesn't clash with our holiday plans.

Cheers,

David

My girlfriend and I will be coming over from North Carolina with Halm (from the Pelican board) and his wife. We'll be staying in London from the 20th-24th and then staying in Arundel through the weekend. We have tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Any tips on cool Porsche/car things to do while were in London?

Hoping to go on Friday. Tip from last yr, go early or you'll be stuck in queues for yonks - even by 10am.

Suggest hooking up at the PCGB stand at some point?

Cheers

Ajit.

Hi Ajit,

Sounds good - I'm still waiting to have tickets confirmed.

Cheers,

Hi,

I am hoping to go on Sunday.

Does any one know which days the CGT is going up the Hill?
I would really like to see it in action ... as opposed to in a showroom or a glossy promo video in ? Oz/Colorado.

Hi Guys,

I've just heard that I've managed to get Saturday tickets. Ajit had a good suggestion re using the PCGB stand as a meeting point. Does 11:00am work for Saturday visitors (assuming that we follow Ajit's advice and get there really early)?

Cheers,

David

Greg,

I think the helicopter really stirrs up the dust.
Last year all the cars where I was parked were dust city.

Early doors Saturday sounds good.

Tito - do you commute to Hemel in your 993? I see one most days coming up the M1. If so, what sort of mileage are you doing each day. mine is a 60 mile round trip - am using the wife's car at the moment but was thinking of a buying a commuting car next year when i have to hand the wife's car back to her. Hadn't thought of using the 993 for a 300 mile a week commute.

Cheers
