It's that time again: Barrett Jackson's auction circus comes to the Palm Beach Fairgrounds (April 8-10).

The werewife has secured some fresh duct tape to attempt to prevent me from bidding on submarines, monster trucks, lifted golf carts or Porsches in need of a good home.

This show really has produced some good buys, in case you are looking to toss some bucks at a cool car.

I watched a nice 6GT2 go for $75k last year. Even after the auction fee was added (15%?) that was still a deal.

As always, some cool cars rolled across the auction block. Bentleys were going for "deal" prices but old beater Jag XJ6 sedans, mid-90's Caddy sedans and any variation of a Jeep CJ YJ went for stupid high prices, Go figure. I saw some good prices on resto-mod muscle cars. There was even a booth with Russian Mail Order brides. I walked past that one very quickly.
