Default Indy shop

What Indy shop would you recommend close to Pembroke Pines? I have an Indy I go to by Doral, but it's always good to know other recommended shops.

One of our own (MJ Speed) is in the process of opening a shop out your way (in a park located behind Signature Grand off 595). There is also Gulf Performance in Pompano (yeah, I know that is north of Pembroke Pines). there are a few others, but I don't have 1st hand knowledge, so I offer no feedback. My GT3 is at Gulf as I type this; they've worked on the C2, also.

FWIW, I used to go to Richard Danvers, off I95 at Hallandale Beach Blvd. He was great and local. Sadly, his landlord jacked up the rent to the point Richard has relocated to Central Florida.

Orbit racing in north palm beach. I know it's a little far, but all they do is Porsche and Roger is a great guy.

Orbit Racing in North Palm Beach, I know a little far but you will not be dissappointed, they only do Porsche, and the owner Roger is great guy.

Forget what I said about Gulf Performance in Pompano. Let's just say I'm not amused how one repair begat two more. Two expensive ones, caused by the tech being a dumbazz and not lifting the car properly or knowing how to replace bushings. From now on the cars go to Marcellos shop in Davie.

What about Stokes Automotive about 3 minutes west of where Richard Danvers used to be. I know that Justin at Stokes and Richard used to exchange tools and info and would cross recommend if one were too busy.

Stokes Automotive is at 2429 SW 57th Terr Hallandale ( ok ok technically in West Park but its a bit West of I95 between Hallandale and Pembroke before you get to 441)

But what about the other shops in S E Fla? Lets see if we can list and put brief reviews about them.

Good idea on the review thing:

MCK: 5 Stars. Honest & competent and best of all, they DRIVE these cars. Sorry, but a guy who drives a F150 or Camry won't have the same perspective we do.

GP: Negative 37 stars. I'd rather not say more.

Stokes: No info to offer

Autobahn (Guys in Oakland Park near Dixie and OP Blvd): the partner who answers the phone (BMW tech) has zero Porsche knowledge. He had no clue what IMS is. Seriously. The Porsche tech seems to have a clue, but his partner scared me off from trying them.

Champion: I had good service from them when the car was still under warranty.

The Collection: Same as above.
