Cancelled/postponed: No PCA Social @ The Collection
So, no social @ the collection, so no caravan this Saturday.
Kind of weak, but I guess they're postponing this until a later date.
I'll start a new thread, but we'll have Lunch @ Hooters next Saturday!

I'm heading to South Beach on saturday for the annual Dachshund Winterfest. 300+ weinerdogs all cavorting on the beach. It's pretty unique. And a good excuse for a road trip & lunch at Beach BBQ.

Guess they didn't get enough RSVP. Like I said, weak.

IMO, this event could have been promoted. It would have been cool for Collection to include these social event info in the monthly online newsletters they send out - I got one a few weeks ago, and if they want to take this seriously, post something on their website. Now, I understand it's "PCA" social and PCA is membership-driven. However, you'll have non-members show up (or someone picking up the car and wanted to know what PCA is, etc.) and PCA may even sign-up a few folks onsite. The PCA membership is an easy sell. Heck, I just bought something from Collection and got 15% off as a PCA member. Savings just about paid for the annual membership, for example.
Of course, I don't know the complex logistics involved to pulling something like this off... so, I give an A for a brilliant idea, and C+ for effort.
