Default Possible Rennfax in Miami?

Hey everyone! I've been looking for a 997 C2S for quite a while now and found one in Miami that I'm quite fond of. It doesn't have a whole lot of history that I can find but it seems like it's been taken care of pretty well from my conversations with the owner. It seems that he has been having it serviced at RS-1 / Rennsport-One. Apparently the previous owner was getting Blackstone reports and his shop recommended doing the IMS bearing because of some elevated levels in the oil to the tune of $6100. The current owner does not have any record of this, however, and RS-1 has been doing Blackstone reports since and everything looks good. My question to you guys is, does the lack of physical records tell me to walk away from this or should I investigate some more because the current maintenance (last 3 years or so) seems to be in order? I'm in Phoenix so It's not as simple as just going to look at the car and visiting the shop where it's been maintained. Thanks guys!

Here is the current spec of the car:
2006 Porsche 911 C2S.
63k original miles.
Clean title, clean carfax, no accident car.
Artic Silver Metalic exterior color on Sea Blue interior.
Sport seats with Porsche crest on headrest.
Color matched seatbacks.
Color matched center console.
Color matched door trim.
OEM GT3 front bumper,
OEM GT3 rs front lip.
Rear duck tail. (Aerokit deck lid also available)
Tubi mufflers.
K&N filter
OEM new clutch (under 5k miles ago)
OEM new master cylinder (under 5k miles ago)
New water pump. (under 5k miles ago)
New thermostat. (under 5k miles ago)
New belt and gaskets replaced within the last 3 months.
Brand New Michelin Super sport Pilots front tires uninstalled. (Will be fitting them this week)
New front brakes.
Since the vehicle has the PASM suspension system (soft/sport setting) H&R springs were installed to lower the car without losing the drivability and adjustability of the factory system.

Who is selling the car? Is it a dealer? Having lived in South Florida for 50 some odd years I can tell you to be BUYER BEWARE.

No it's a private sale. He's actually a RL and 6speed member but doesn't post much.

I had my IMS replaced in a few Porsches back it was a 996 C2 it did not cost 6100 to have the IMS done. I had the IMs, RMS and clutch disc replaced for just under 4k. Theres a great shop Orbit Racing in the West Palm Beach area that only does Porsches. Cutting open the oil filter will tell you if the bearing is starting to fail due to filings in the media.

Replacing the IMS on a 996 and a 2006+ 997 are two different beasts.
