Folks not gone at all. Just moved next to the 997 Forum by request of a few people who believe that the turbo forum will benefit from being with the non turbo model. Comments invited.

Invite accepted. Every other turbo model category is accessible through the "turbo" section, which makes perfect sense. With 997 Turbo, you have to go into a non-turbo section and then weave your way through to get to the turbo forum within the non-turbo section. If it made it to a post here because people couldn't find it, it wasn't intuitive. Also, some folks may have multiple turbos and easy navigation between say 993 turbo and 997 turbo would be helpful.

if your going to do this with the 997, it should be with all the turbo models, 996, 993 etc. not just the 997

I would argue the majority of people who owns the 997 tt would like it back into the turbo technical section. It makes no sense for it to be a sub-section of the 997 section, when everyone else is separated out. Would much rather it go back to the old format please. Whoever asked for it to be put into a subsection would be a minority. It makes it very cumbersome to find the forum, I initially thought it was deleted!

Please switch it back!

Thanks!

I agree with the others, seems more intuitive to have ALL the turbos in the turbo section. Please put it back, thanks for asking though.

I'd love to know *who* from the 997 community wanted that. Probably a vendor as that's all we've gotten of late. If I wanted to be vendored to death I'd read 6so.

I would have to say it is not a good move.

It is not logical to take the 997 turbo away from the turbo section and let all the others remain.
It has to be all or none IMO.

Might as well take all of them out to keep it organized.

I dont really care FWIW, but for the sake of the site reputation and tidy navigation for new members, It would make sense to keep then all there or just delete the turbo section.

A Turbo should be under....Turbo. The simpler the better.

OK, here's the question, should we have all the turbo models married to the non turbo version (like the 997 and 997TT or keep the turbos as a separate category as it was?

Looks like most guys on the 997 Turbo Forum want to keep the turbos in a separate category as it was. We have been discussing this, see below:
