Pause/delay when loading Rennlist pages - settings?
 

I'm not looking to complain, as much as find out if I have something set up wrong on my browser settings or plug-ins.

It seems that there is often, but not always, a relatively long delay (~5 - 10 seconds) before Rennlist pages start to load after clicking on them. I do not get this delay with any other websites.

- Using IE9, but have experienced the same problems with IE8
- Connect wirelessly (N-router) at 35Mbps upload/7Mbps download
- New and fast computer with quality graphics card

Is there a way (via applications or browser logs) to determine what is causing the delay?

If this is just an inherent slowness with the Rennlist website, then I am fine with that. I just don't want to suffer alone! :)

You are not the only one. Try using a smart phone to browse, it takes several clicks to get the server to respond. It's only marginally better with a PC.

So yes, there is, and has been a delay, and it's been going on for several months, like 12 or so.

But, but, but - it's worth the wait!

Ok, thanks for confirming. I'll continue to put up with it, knowing that I'm not the only one... and knowing that it's worth the wait!
