I usually check R-list at 4:45am and it is usually down at that time.

Glad it's finally back up tho.

Everything seemed to start working normally again here just moments ago (within the last couple of minutes or so).

We currently have the big tools out on the job (literally, not metaphorically!)

Apologizes with the site speed in the mean time.

maybe clue us in on the issue? I mean, you have to know this stuff doesn't bode well for you guys.

when ONE couple was running this place we had notifications on when site maintenance would be going on, explanations posted site wide when unexpected crap happened... and less issues.

we all understand that the switch was not the easiest thing. we accept that. but it is beginning to look like IB is just throttling back the bandwidth, not putting the time and effort into the site JD did, and expecting to reap the benefits until we all get sick of it and take our ball's elsewhere.

un fubar this place IB. no excuses.

*this message is not meant to direct any hostilities toward any specific IB employee. just to hope the corp. shot callers get the message.

It is to do with the firewall, it has been dropping TCP connections.

The site is running at normal speed this morning. I haven't had an opportunity to confirm with the tech team whether this speed increase was a result of something they rectified in the wee hours of the morning yet or not.
Will let you know

Angry

I am getting beyond frustrated. Pages have a very long delay before they come up. I am not seeing any ads but don't ever recall installing any type of ad blocker and don't see any settings for one. I am using Firefox 3.0.1. If it is a browser configuration problem can someone please help.

IB? John or Jenn? Randy V.? Anyone? Hello... Is this thing on?
