It's better now than it was, but after awhile, it goes back to 2-3 minute load times per page. Is it something on my end, or has Rennlist "hit the wall?"
It's getting to the point where I can't read the site at home at all -only in the mornings at work.
Hate to see this happen after all the work John D. has put in.

Wierd. Back to fast for me this morning. The past couple evenings Rennlist has been extremely slow, but all other sites, MSN, Yahoo, Bimmerforums, etc, has been fast. The other interesting part is that the Rennlist header and menu frames load very quickly, it is just the forum frame itself that takes so long.

Another data point. When I switch from one forum to another - Racing to 944 Turbo for instance - the load times are about 30 seconds. Much faster than last night but this morning it only took 1-2 seconds. However when I open a specific thread whithin one of the forums, it only takes 1-2 seconds to load.

Also - as I type this (about 9:30 PM EDT) - there are over 1,000 folks on line on just the Rennlist Forums??

Time Warner/RR - cable modem. Quite slow tonight. ~ 2 minute load times. For comparison Bimmerforums have 3,000 users online right now and load time is 1 - 2 seconds for me.

+1

Exact same setup, and same response with Rennlist vs. Bimmerforums.

I have been having slow 964 forum loading for a few weeks now. I thought it was my house. As the others, I check it in the morning at work and its fine. The 964 forum takes a few minutes and sometimes it does not load. The banner loads fine but the forum frames do not.

Strange though that this help forum loaded relativley quickly. Allt he other websites I go to load as fast as normal.

I use Time Warner Cable modem in Powell OH.
