Adding links to other threads?

how do you do this? what i'd ultimately like to do is to get members in several fourms to look at a thread in the 993 fourm. the post is not 993 specific and would be of interest to all porsche owners. so how do you set up a post to link people to the thread i'd like them to see?

Mike:

Find the thread title in the forum listing that you're interested in.
Right click on it (in Windows) and select "copy shortcut" from the pop-up menu.
Post your thread or message but rather than "Quick Reply", click on "Go Advanced"
In the text box, type your message.
Double click on a word in your message to select it (like "see the link here")
Then click on the little world globe with a chain in front of it (top of the text box, see below)
That starts a script - the word people will see and have to click on is already filled in for the first dialog box so click "Ok"
Then in the next dialog box, right click and paste the shortcut you copied earlier.
Click okay and the script adds the necessary code to your message.

You're all set! :)
