Since the malicious pop up ads started appearing in iPad/iPhone devices. An update on the solution progress would be nice! Or, at least some indication that your care!

The only solution from IB would be to stop serving ads.
Not gonna happen methinks.
Its malicious code coming from ad servers, and it’s way more widespread than here. It just shows up because IB sites are - shall we say - well supplied with advertising.
.
Either the ad servers need to screen better (ha!) or Apple needs to add a fix to Safari to allow one to stop JavaScript redirects. Word is there’s one coming for chrome.

We're working on a fix, but as noted this problem exists 'above' us so to speak. If I had the power, I'd turn ads off, but that is way above my paygrade.

I’ve discovered an easy temporary work-around that kills the pop ups.
Simply turn off the java scripts switch in safari settings. Seems to have minimal impact to functionality of this website, but remember to turn back on after leaving rennlist.
