They became really aggressive in the last day or so. I was trying to read a short thread and redirected literally every time I scroll to the next post. About six redirects. Other threads were nearly as bad. It’s been a problem lately but this is a whole new level right now.

it's almost like the advertisers know people are out of our office on the weekends...

I started noticing it about 2 weeks ago and it’s been getting progressively worse.

It hasn’t happened since mid day today, right around the time my membership expire. Not sure I want to reinstate membership considering all the issues lately and it’s not like IB isn’t getting good ad revenue these days.

This current round must be limited to IOS because both my Android and laptop using the Chrome browser are not having any issues. Since I don't own a single Apple device, can you download Google's Chrome browser and use it on IOS or is that not possible. If you can use Chrome and then follow the instructions for blocking external ads earlier in this thread, that might resolve the issue until a more permanent solution is available.

If not, the other solution would be to upgrade your phone to any Android device from Samsung, LG, Google, Huwai, etc.

The malware is popping up again after several months of respite. When membership renewal time comes around, if this hasn’t been fixed, I’m not renewing.

Just happened to me ... chrome on iPad. It’s a PITA. Nothing to but hit cancel, have it load a random crap page, and then go back.

Running chrome on iPad do you have the setting enabled for framebusting

chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture

If not, go here in your chrome browser, enable framebusting, restart Chrome and test. Maybe clear the app cache too.

I don’t see the option. Chrome 70.0.3538.75... no updates available in App Store.

The link link takes me to a page of experimental settings, but no frame busting listed.

On a windows PC running Chrome, you get this page when you go to the link and the top option is the framebusting one

If that's not there on a Mac, that stinks.

Another idea - when I clicked on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the browser and went down to Help then About and click on it, it actually started an upgrade of the chrome browser to the latest version, which looks like v71. Is that same option there in the apple version - if so, maybe it will give you a way to directly side load the update before it's available via the app store. If not, that's one of the handicapping things I can't stand about apple and why I'm not a user of their products - that and there's no expansion micro SD card slot on their mobile devices (I run a 400 GB micro SD in my Android phone and have every file that's on my laptop.

One article I found just showed the "chrome://flags/" in the browser web address bar - does just entering that bring up any different options for you?

If none of this works, I'm out of ideas for you.
